Are my photos protected?
Your photo is never public: only signed-in members can see it, never search engines, and never someone of your own sex. It appears clear by default; if you would rather be discreet, you can blur it in one click, when you sign up or from your account, and make it clear again whenever you wish. While it is blurred, other members' photos appear blurred to you too.
Do you have an app to download?
No. Rencontre Chrétienne is a website: it opens in your browser and can be added to your phone's home screen. We publish no app on Google Play or the App Store — an app with a similar name is not ours.
Is it paid for men?
No. Men and women have exactly the same rights, and the same price: zero. There is no subscription, no paid option, no card to enter. Writing, replying, seeing who liked you — everything is free, for men just as for women.
How can I know the members are really Christians?
No one can prove another person's faith, and we do not claim to. Every profile states the denomination and leaves room to say what place faith holds in a life; you write to each other before meeting, and that is where you hear how someone speaks of God, of their church, of what they are looking for. On our side: every new photo is reviewed by a person, messages containing a phone number, an address or a link are held and read before delivery, and any profile can be reported or blocked from its page — we act as soon as we are told. The discernment remains yours: “You will recognize them by their fruits” (Matthew 7:16).
